The OUT Syracuse LGBTQ Mentorship Program, Pink Panthers, is designed to strengthen mentorship within our local LGBTQ community. Led by Coach Sgro, the program helps participants develop practical mentorship skills so they can confidently support, guide, and uplift other LGBTQ individuals. Through a highly interactive workshop, participants will learn effective communication, leadership, and community-building strategies. By “leveling up” mentorship skills, the program empowers LGBTQ community members to create stronger connections, share experiences, and foster a more supportive and inclusive Syracuse community. 🌈
Key skill development in mentorship: Conflict Resolution, Flexibility, Fostering Teamwork, Interpersonal Relations, Managing Relationships, Promoting Empowerment, and Relating to People.
Limit of 6 participants for workshop and program costs $37. for refreshments and materials. The Lateisha Green Fund underwrites the rest of the cost. Our first cohort will meet on Friday, April 24th from 9-12PM and will be followed up with a one-on-one with Coach Sgro, for custom support.
