Solo operated doula services dedicated to helping queer families flourish. Offering lactation and infant care assistance from newborns to 12 months old, I have specialized experience in adopting families, lactation in non-gestational parents, and body affirming practices for gender nonconforming people.

My services are tailored to individual needs with training in body positivity, cultural respect, trauma sensitivities. 

Raised in Syracuse, NY, I have passionately cared for infants and children for over 13 years. Recently, I found my passion work in becoming a Postpartum Doula serving families of all shapes and sizes. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community & neurodivergent, I know the value in guiding those I work with on an empathetic level during a pivotal time of change and growth and I hope to help others find comfort and wisdom during what is one of life’s greatest moments. We are all filled with unique life experiences and views of the world and I aim to be an assistant to those unique individuals and families. Certified through Cornerstone Birthwork Trainings & Lactation Education Resources, additionally I have my Associates in Applied Sciences in Medical Records which gives me a deepened inside knowledge of the medical system and continuity of care both in hospitals and doctors offices.

Apricity is an old term that refers to the warmth of the sunlight in the wintertime.

My women owned business, Apricity Postpartum Services, LLC, was born from the personal life passion to help every family bask in their babies radiant sunlight as much as possible in the early days of bonding and healing. I am committed to helping all families without judgement or haste in what can be an exhausting and rewarding time in life. I honor & respect all identities and bodies with the many life stories they carry with them.

My personalized postpartum services & lactation support are catered to each families needs and can vary in tasks and timeframes depending on what the family chooses. Apricity Postpartum Services offers many different perinatal services including family adjustment, lactation counseling, newborn care, sleep support, healing & nourishment guidance, and community resource referrals.
